課程概述

This course will discuss the fundamental concept of electrophysiology, including basic electricity, neuronal properties and morphology, membrane potential, the passive properties of neuronal membrane, the generation of action potential, the microelectrode recording techniques (current clamp, voltage clamp and patch clamp recordings), ion channels and their kinetic properties (sodium channel, potassium channel and calcium channel), synaptic transmission, quantal properties of transmitter release, synaptic plasticity (long-term potentiation and long-term depression), and electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyogram (EMG): the theory and their clinical applications.
